Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni to Star in Colleen Hoover’s It Ends With Us Adaptation

The stars have been chosen for Colleen Hoover’s “It Ends With Us” film adaptation.

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have been cast as Lily Bloom and Ryle Kincaid, the New York Times bestselling novelist announced on January 26. Hoover started a social media video by sharing the idea for her 2016 New York Times bestseller book.

Lily Bloom makes an effort to stop the cycle of abuse in her life in the movie “It Ends With Us.” It describes her upbringing and time spent with an abusive father. It then describes her turbulent marriage to Ryle Kincaid, a tyrannical neurosurgeon. However, after reconnecting with Atlas Corrigan, Lily finds comfort in him.

Hoover said in her video that Blake Lively will be “our Lily.” Blake Lively, everyone. My ideal Lily, she is. Then, when I first saw Justin Baldoni, who is helming the film “It Ends With Us,” I knew I had to cast him as Ryle.

“I simply believed that he had what it took to portray that role, and the good news is that he takes going to be Ryle,” she said, adding that she thinks the performers have what it takes to bring the characters to life.

Hoover exhibited her childhood house and the memories it carried before sharing the casting.

She continued, “How grateful I am to my mother, who pulled us out of a dangerous circumstance when I was tiny and brought us to this house,” she said, wanting everyone to know.

Hoover referred to the house as being “full of love and joy” and a location where she had many happy memories. It’s bittersweet that we are now discussing a movie that was adapted from a novel that was loosely based on my mother.

“The young girl who used to sleep in that bedroom thanks you for all the support,” she said as she wrapped up her video.
